"CAT" aka Christine Anabelle Taylor is a personal passionate project to bring a character that I've had for ten years to life. She is still being worked on as a side-project, as I develop small animations and videos for her. She is fully custom from the ground up, made in Blender 3D.
"CAT" RIg
Hair Dynamics, Look development, and Custom Shaders
Squash and stretch of the body rig
IK / FK Space switch matching
IK / FK Fingers
Joint based facial rig
Hair rig is joint constraint based rather than simulated physics, allowing more control and real-time motion
Hair rig able to be posed and keyframed even when physics are enabled and used
Hair rig contains a falloff system that has the "physics" affect the end of the hair more than the root via equation-driven drivers, with adjustable "physics" intensity per section of hair

Sculpting, Modeling and Texturing
Sculpted model to emphasized details of burn scars. Painted textures to create a mix of a realistic and stylistic base for created shader nodes to overlay on top of. Topology optimized for animation, and clothing modeled on top of skin to allow for different outfits to be modeled in the future.
Creation of stylistic custom shading groups able to be layered on top of both each other and painted textures to finalize a 2D-inspired final look.
